KEVIN DURANT
NAMED
2013-2014
NBA
MVP
ALL-MET ELITE
MONTROSE CHRISTIAN HS.
ROCKVILLE MD.
ROCKVILLE MD.
Durant, the league's leading scorer this season, will become the first player to win both the scoring title and MVP award in the same season since Allen Iverson did it in 2000-01.
Durant averaged 32.0 points, 7.4 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game this season. He also led the league in Player Efficiency Rating with a 29.90, 0.50 of a point better than James' 29.40.
Durant arrived to the NBA as a solid scorer with plenty of raw potential. He's developed into one of the most well-rounded players in the league without losing that natural scoring instinct, and he's been rewarded for that effort with the MVP award.
