One of a number of skilled wings with some serious length, Robinson is a 6-foot-8 small forward with a nearly seven-foot wingspan that allowed him to be an impressive defence presence in the post. The Virginia native was a largely unknown product until last year, when he joined the Richmond Squires AAU program and his recruiting started to take off.
Robinson has a laundry list of offers, and he wouldn’t name any of his offers to avoid insulting programs he might have left out. According to ESPN.com, Robinson’s list includes schools like UConn, George Mason, Virginia Commonwealth, Virginia Tech, Rutgers and more; so far he’s taken unofficial visits to Georgetown, VCU and Virginia. The only schools that haven’t offered are the blue-chip programs, and Robinson said he’s been hearing from Louisville, North Carolina and Duke, among others.
