Alani Moore (DeMatha) – 5-foot-8, 150-pound point guard

Moore, like Cowan, is a point guard and should become a nationally recruited player in the near future. He already boasts interest from Maryland, N.C. State, Virginia, Virginia Tech and West Virginia.

 

At the moment, Cowan appears to the more natural point guard, but that’s not saying Moore isn’t going to emerge as a top-flight talent. Like Cowan, Moore’s upside is through the roof since he will likely continue to grow over the next few years.

 

“Alani is a guy that’s a leader on the floor,” Suber said. “He’s quick and explosive. He’s the type of guy that if he throws the ball away, he’ll hustle back and beat you back on defense. He’s been playing well for us and he’s had some clutch moments. He’s been playing with a lot of confidence too. He’s turning into a complete player.”
