DEMATHA HS. GUARD
MARKELLE FULTZ
WILL ATTEND
WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY
 ALL-MET ELITE

MARKELLE FULTZ
DEMATHA HS.
HYATTSVILLE MD.

One of the top guards in the 2016 class is off the board after Markelle Fultz committed to the Washington Huskies Friday night.

Fultz, a 6-4, 180-pound combo guard from DeMatha high school in  Maryland, announced his pledge live on ESPNU while competing in the Under Armour Elite 24 slam dunk and three-point contests in Brooklyn. His finalists were the Arizona Wildcats, Louisville Cardinals, and the aforementioned Huskies.

24/7 Sports has Fultz ranked as the No. 7 overall player in the Class of 2016. ESPN has him at 21st while Rivals has him at 23rd. He's been blowing up over the summer and ended up getting offers from nearly every major college basketball program.
