Justin Robinson, a 6-foot-1, 173-pound guard from St. James School in Hagerstown, Md., committed Sunday to Tech for its 2015 recruiting class. He also considered scholarship offers from Providence and Nevada-Las Vegas, and will arrive in Blacksburg with at least one strong endorsement.

“He was in our program two years,” said Boo Williams in a Sunday evening interview with Daily Press columnist David Teel. “Good kid, pure point guard. Good instincts, knows how to play, makes good decisions. Left-handed, decent shooter, highly skilled – highly skilled.”
Robinson, who transferred to St. James from basketball power Montrose Christian School in Rockville, Md. after his sophomore season, averaged 12.7 points, 6.1 assists, three rebounds and two steals per game last season for St. James.
