KEVIN DURANT NAMED WESTERN CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - ALL-MET ELITE

KEVIN DURANT
NAMED
WESTERN CONFERENCE
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
 ALL-MET ELITE

MONTROSE CHRISTIAN HS.
ROCKVILLE MD.

The Oklahoma City Thunder’s Kevin Durant has been named the Western Conference Player of the Week for games played Monday March 17 through Sunday March 23.

During that week of action, Durant led the Thunder to a 3-0 road record with wins over the Chicago Bulls, Cleveland Cavaliers and Toronto Raptors. Durant scored 121 points, grabbed 35 rebounds and dished out 18 assists for incredible weekly averages of 40.3ppg, 11.7rpg and 6apg while shooting 51.4% FG and 54.2% from 3pt range.

The highlight for the week was certainly the 51 point performance and game winning three point basket against the Toronto Raptors, but the entire week was worth watching. He score 35 points against the Bulls and the Cavs and added double figure rebounds in all three outings.

It is yet another string to the bow of Durant who many feel should be the leagues Most Valuable Player for the first time in his career.
