DEMATHA'S
JERAMI GRANT
SCORES CAREER HIGH
AGAINST
DUKE
ALL-MET ELITE
DEMATHA HS.
HYATTSVILLE MD.
Grant finished the game with a career-high 24 points in Syracuse's 91-89 overtime win over Duke in front of an NCAA on-campus record crowd of 35,446 at the Dome. He made seven of his 11 field goal attempts and made all 10 of his free throws.
Grant got the ball on Syracuse's first four possessions in the overtime period. The results were a dunk, a dunk, a missed shot in the lane and another dunk.
"Jerami's an under-rated scorer for us,'' Tyler Ennis said. "We tried to exploit him and the mismatch he had in overtime until they were able to take it away. Luckily, we were able to get eight or six points out of it.''
