PHIL BOOTH
COMMITS TO
VILLANOVA UNIV.
ALL-MET ELITE
MOUNT ST. JOSEPHS HS.
BALTIMORE MD.
2014 guard Phil Booth of Mount St. Joseph’s High School (Baltimore, Md.) took to Twitter on Tuesday to announce his decision to verbally commit to Villanova.
Booth, who plays with the highly-regarded AAU squad Team Takeover (D.C.), is Villanova’s second commit to the 2014 class.
Booth’s high school coach Pat Clatchey had nothing but high praise for his rising senior. Clatchey spoke about how he thinks Booth will transition to the college game.
“He’ll be a terrific college player; from a physical standpoint he has the ability to make others around him better,” Clatchey said. “I don’t think he has a lot of weaknesses. I think he can help a team win in a lot of different ways.”
