The 6-foot-8, 215-pound Freeman picked the Wolfpack over Villanova, Pittsburgh, DePaul and UAB. He visited N.C. State on April 12 and helped lead the U.S. All-Stars to a victory in the Capital Classic on Sunday in Alexandria, Va.
Freeman, 17, had considered moving to the Class of 2014.

Anya and Freeman have played together for Team Takeover on the travel circuit.
