DC ASSAULT 17U - Under Armour Invitational Texas Recap - ROMELO TRIMBLE - ALL-MET ELITE

DC ASSAULT 17U
Under Armour Invitational Texas
Recap
 ROMELO TRIMBLE
 ALL-MET ELITE

BISHOP O'CONNELL
ARLINGTON VA.

Standout performer:
After arriving from his prom the night before, 2014 guard Romelo Trimble
(Arlington, Va./Bishop O'Connell) was right in sync with his D.C. Assault team and carried it to victory at the Under Armour Invitational. The Maryland commit is a physical combo guard who knocks down shots and possesses a powerful handle with a good basketball IQ. There is not much wasted motion in his game, which makes him especially effective on his drives, and Trimble plays with aggressiveness and unselfishness as he puts up strong scoring and assist numbers. His production was consistent and he showed he could be a difference-maker in the future. The Terrapins have a prospect who will be ready to make immediate contributions in 2014 and will be a factor throughout his career at Maryland.
