RODDY PETERS

Hometown: District Heights, Maryland
High School: Suitland
Position: Point Guard
Measurables: 6'4'', 180 pounds
Senior Year Stats: DNP (shoulder)
AAU Stats (DC Assault): 23.0 PPG, 5.2 APG, 2.4 SPG
Strengths: Peters, who flew under the radar until he lit up the AAU circuit following his junior season, is rapidly improving. He is slowly learning how to play point guard, and once he does make the full transition, he has tremendous size and athleticism for the position.
Peters has a very solid handle for his size and can attack off the dribble with either a shot, pass or drive.
It will be intriguing to see how Peters bounces back from his injury when he rejoins the AAU DC Assault.
2014 Role: Peters has a realistic opportunity to start at the point from day one. He should receive major minutes from the get-go.

DAMONTE DODD
Hometown: Centreville, Maryland
High School: Queen Anne's County (High School), Massanutten Military Academy (Post-Graduate)
Position: Center
Measurables: 6'10'', 230 pounds
Senior Year Stats: 24.2 PPG, 15.7 RPG, 5.7 BPG
Prep School Stats: 14.0 PPG, 8.0 RPG, 4.0 BPG

Strengths: Dodd is a quintessential late bloomer. He faced inferior competition in high school, which resulted in inflated stats. But in prep school, he proved he can bang with the big boys of the ACC. He has supreme length and is an outstanding shot blocker.
He runs the floor exceptionally well for a big man and can really defend fellow post players.

2014 Role: With Alex Len's departure to the NBA, Dodd could see significant minutes as a freshman.
