Key Player: Joe Hampton This team has taken home top honors at the past two MIT tournaments and opens the season in similar fashion.

7.			Team Takeover Washington, D.C.
Key Player: Tyler Scanlon This DMV-based program has ranked teams at all age levels, a nod to Keith Stevens and the talent coming out of the area. 16U 4. Team Takeover Caron Butler Washington, D.C. Key Player: Phil Booth Phil Booth is a 6’2” beast disguised as a combo guard. His length and athleticism paced this team to the Super Showcase title last year. Takeover started out the season with a title at the Playaz Spring Fling as well.

12.			Team Takeover Washington, D.C.
Key Players: BeeJay Anya, Josh Hart, Stanford Robinson Whenever you have a center with a 7-9 wingspan in the paint, you should be one of the top defensive teams. Takeover has that with Anya. Rising stars Robinson, Hart and Jarius Lyles will also be dangerous.
13.			Boo Williams Hampton, Va.
Key Players: Anthony Barber, Troy Williams If you turn the ball over against this team, you will pay. Williams and Barber are scary in a fast break situation. Boo Williams is a sleeper team to do serious damage on the EYBL circuit. 17. Nike Baltimore Elite Baltimore, Md. Top Players: Alajuwon Fisher, Daquan McNeil, Kameron Williams With excellent guard play, led by Daquan McNeil, Nike Baltimore Elite might be a sleeper on the Nike circuit. 20. D.C. Assault Washington, D.C. Top Players: Nate Britt, Junior Etou, Kris Jenkins You heard enough about the D.C. region during the high school season, and with D.C. Assault competing with the best 17U teams in the country, don’t expect that to stop any time soon.
