NATE BRITT - IN 2013 WILL ATTEND ?

THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA
When North Carolina offered a scholarship in early October, Gonzaga All-Met guard Nate Britt had an idea where he wanted to go to college. And after several conversations with Tar Heels Coach Roy Williams, Britt had his mind made up three weeks ago.
So there was no need to continue the recruiting process. The 6-foot-1 junior was happy with the choice he announced Tuesday night at a school pep rally and making his decision would allow the schools interested in him to get along with recruiting other players.
“Starting out, I was always a fan of North Carolina,” Britt said. “After they offered a scholarship, it was just a matter of making sure it was the right place to go.
“They have a lot of history and they like an uptempo game. They like to push the ball and get fast-break baskets. Coach Williams always trusts his point guards and allows them to run the team.”
Britt had narrowed his choices to Maryland, Georgetown, Arizona, Villanova and North Carolina.
“It really came down to Carolina and Arizona,” he said. Arizona “Coach [Sean] Miller did a great job of recruiting me and I enjoyed talking to him. Distance wasn’t an issue. It was always about what school fit me best.”
