Following a career high in points on Sunday evening, Villanova junior guard Josh Hart was named Big East Player of the Week.

The reigning Big East Sixth Man of the Year scored 27 points in Villanova's 75-56 victory over Akron. He also scored in double figures in wins over East Tennessee State and Nebraska, leading the Wildcats with 19 points over the Cornhuskers in the inaugural Gavitt Tipoff Games.
