WASHINGTON D.C.
Raised in Washington D.C., the 6’3”, 230 lb, two-time “Red Bull King of the Rock” champion received his nickname, “Baby Shaq” in school when teammates said he would grab every rebound that came off the glass. After watching Jones play, Shaquille O’Neal himself said, “This guy deserves to be in the league.” Jones attended and played for The College of Southern Maryland averaging 20 points and 10 rebounds. He was also the 2003 MVP of The Goodman League, the most competitive amateur basketball league in all of D.C. Most recently, Jones played for the Pro AM league, the Beltway Bombers in Washington DC. and for the Washington Greenhawks. Jones has ball handling skills that go unmatched even in the NBA and is considered to be nearly unguardable on the court.
