COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. (June 20, 2013) – Featuring 27 collegiate athletes overall and two USA Basketball veterans, training camp is set to begin for the 2013 USA Basketball Men’s World University Games Team on June 24-30 at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo. Invitations were issued by the USA Basketball Men’s Junior National Team Committee.

Looking for one of 12 roster spots on the 2013 USA Basketball Men’s World University Games Team will be.

 

 Eric Atkins (Notre Dame/Columbia, Md.)

Treveon Graham (Virginia Commonwealth/Temple Hills, Md.)

Davante Gardner (Marquette/Suffolk, Va.)

Jerian Grant (Notre Dame/Bowie, Md.)

 

Previously announced participants

Quinn Cook (Duke/Washington, D.C.)

and

C.J. Fair (Syracuse/ Baltimore, Md.) are not able to attend.

 

Training Camp opens on June 24 at 5 p.m. in Sportscenter II at the U.S. Olympic Training Center, and then continues with two-a-day practices through June 30. After departing for Russia on July 1st, the USA is expected to have a practices on July 3, 5 and 6, and a friendly scrimmage on July 5 before beginning World University Games play on July 7.
